💥 ¿Quién eres? Me defino como artista visual o fotógrafo mutante, creo que hay una gran diferencia en tu trabajo en función de como te definas o “limites”, ahora mismo estoy más interesado en probar diferentes técnicas que en cuestiones formales o academicistas.
¿Qué haces? Ahora mismo estoy en ese periodo de “la página en blanco” así que he decidido que mi décimo libro va a ser mi portafolio ampliado y revisitado, una especie de grandes éxitos, y trabajando en ello me he dado cuenta de lo mutable de una obra, fotos que antes me encantaban ahora las detesto; fotos que no pasaron la selección… pues muchas me parecen de lo mejor que he hecho.
Influencias e inspiración: Referentes muchísimos, pero referentes que se puedan apreciar en mi obra, menos de los que me gustaría. Siempre hablo de los directores de videoclips de los 90 por ser los mas evidentes, pero he mamado de muchas corrientes desde el art deco, el expresionismo alemán, la fotografía pictorialista, la nouvelle vague (y de diferentes disciplinas).
💥 Who are you? I define myself as a mutant visual artist or photographer. I think there is a big difference in your work depending on how you define yourself or "limit yourself", right now I am more interested in trying different techniques than in formal or academic questions.
What do you do? Right now I am in that period of "the blank page" so I have decided that my tenth book is going to be my expanded and revisited portfolio, a kind of compilation of my greatest works, and working on it I have realized how mutable a work is, the photos that I used to love, now I detest them; the photos that did not pass the selection well seem to me to be the best I have done.
Influences and inspiration: I have many references, but references that can be seen in my work are less than I would like to have. I always talk about the directors of video clips from the 90s for being the most obvious, but I have been attracted by many art movements from art deco, German expressionism, pictorial photography, nouvelle vague and other different disciplines.
