馃崑 Who are you? My name is Eric Davidove.  When I’m not teaching yoga, walking other people’s dogs, or making dinner, I am exploring the city streets with my camera.


What do you do? I tend to create quirky and humorous photos, using different angles and framing sizes, incorporating different lighting conditions, building layers, and filling up the frame.


Influences and inspiration: I frequently listen to and read street photography articles and interviews, and study the results of well respected street photography competitions.


馃崑  ¿Qui茅n eres? Mi nombre es Eric Davidove. Cuando no estoy ense帽ando yoga, paseando a los perros de otras personas o preparando la cena, estoy explorando las calles de la ciudad con mi c谩mara.


¿Qu茅 haces? Tiendo a crear fotos extravagantes y humor铆sticas, usando diferentes 谩ngulos y tama帽os de encuadre, incorporando diferentes condiciones de iluminaci贸n, creando capas y llenando el encuadre.


Influencias e inspiraci贸n: Frecuentemente escucho y leo art铆culos y entrevistas de fotograf铆a callejera, y estudio los resultados de conocidos concursos de fotograf铆a callejera.

How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Ypatia Kornarou: Because of social media and the internet in general, photo viewing is a condition we have to deal with every day. In the “age of the image” the difficult thing is to discover qualitative “visual field” invested with an interesting narrative. When finally a photograph can and does contain the elements, the motif that will give it an interesting identity then the feeling is one of surprise and relief about the art of photography. How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Dimitra Kitsiou: I keep seeing “photos” and “frames” everywhere.  Frequently, I see the “frame” first and then the reality as if everything exists to end up in a photo.  Perversion? Maybe!
