 ☕️ @vasso.tzivoglou has Pop Sonality! ☕️ Who are you? My name is Vasso Tzivoglou and I was born on the lovely Greek Island of Lesvos. I still live and work here in my family’s business. What do you do? When I’m not working in our family business I spend my free time  by taking photographs. I feel that Photography ‘freezes’ moments and also helps me escape the stress of my daily life. Playing with colors, textures and shadows inspires me and helps me view the world in a way that only photography allows me to capture. Photography helps me to illustrate my emotions and escape to my own little world for a while…  Influences and inspiration: Cinema, theatre, music, painting, are a few of the sources that influence me a lot. I admire many photographers, like Andre Kertez, Josef Sudek ,Saul Leiter and William Eggleston. I completed my studies in Greek Literature at the University of Athens (EKPA) and, nowadays, I am in the last year of my studies at the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA). I am also a mother of an eleven-year-old boy.  What do you do? I am a visual artist and I express myself mainly through Photography and Drawing. Photography for me is wandering, alertness, and searching for magic in everyday things. The changes in the position of light redefine forms and reshape the content. The fragmentation of the existing world into a "personal parallelogram" of viewing reality is in itself a staging act. On the other hand, drawing helps me to dive into a world where, with the help of the tip of a pencil or the tonal qualities of charcoal, the sanctuaries of the inner self are revealed. I work as a professional Psychologist-Psychotherapist the last 20 years. Sometimes, I use photography during the therapeutic process, as a therapeutic tool. What do you do? Empecé con fotografía/cianotipia, origami modular y pintura hace muchos años, pero descubrí que los collages y ensamblajes son medios maravillosos, aunque trato de combinar todo lo que amo hacer. ¿Qué haces? He presentado mi trabajo en 7 exposiciones individuales en Atenas, Grecia, y he participado en numerosas exposiciones colectivas, en Grecia y en el extranjero.
