💥¿Quién eres? Soy una persona optimista no binaria con el deseo de usar mi privilegio para hacer del mundo un lugar mejor. Me preocupo mucho por la comunidad LGBTQIA+, el alojamiento de personas sin hogar y la comunidad BIPOC. También creo que tenemos un sistema de salud mental que no funciona, que debe arreglarse. Planeo comenzar una organización sin fines de lucro y continuar mi trabajo humanitario en los años venideros.
¿A qué te dedicas? Mi verdadero nombre es Leny Behar pero me hago llamar Lenny Gerard como artista. Soy un espíritu creativo con más de 10 años de experiencia trabajando en agencias y organizaciones de arte, moda, música, belleza y entretenimiento. Me especializo en brindar a los clientes una fuerte presencia visual a través de fotografía, videografía, diseño web, marketing, redes sociales, animación stop-motion y dirección de arte. Fui a la Escuela de Diseño Parsons, donde obtuve una licenciatura en fotografía (2010-2015) y una licenciatura en música; ahora, además de trabajar, me dedico activamente a mis artes visuales y mis talentos musicales como pasatiempo.
Influencias e inspiración: Me inspiro en varios artistas: Yayoi Kusama, Robert Mapplethorpe, Francesca Woodman, Johannes Vermeer, Ryan McGinley, Man Ray, Hans Bellmer, surrealista, Polaroid/film, o fotógrafos de naturaleza muerta, editores de video, gráficos diseñadores y pintores.
💥Who are you? I'm a non-binary optimist with the desire to use my privilege to make the world a better place. I care about the LGBTQIA+ community, housing the homeless, and the BIPOC community very much. I also think we have a broken mental-health system, that needs to be fixed. I plan on starting a non-profit and continuing my humanitarian work for years to come.
What do you do? My real name is Leny Behar but I go by Lenny Gerard as an artist. I'm a creative spirit with over 10+ years of experience working in agencies and organizations across art, fashion, music, beauty, and entertainment. I specialize in providing clients a strong visual presence through photography, videography, web design, marketing, social media, stop-motion animation, and art direction. I went to Parsons School of Design where I earned a BFA in Photography (2010-2015) and a BA in music - now, apart from working, I actively pursue my visual art and musical talents as a hobby.
Influences and inspiration: I'm inspired by several artists: Yayoi Kusama, Robert Mapplethorpe, Francesca Woodman, Johannes Vermeer, Ryan McGinley, Man Ray, Hans Bellmer, surreal, Polaroid/film, or still-life photographers, video-editors, graphic designers, and painters.
