La Ventana de Tiby Medina has Pop Sonality!

💥 ¿Quién eres? Mi nombre es Tiby Medina y suelo camuflarme detrás de mi cámara y de La Ventana de Tiby. Desde siempre me he sentido atraída por el arte, y en concreto por la fotografía. Como buena Tinerfeña, durante toda mi vida he disfrutado mucho de los carnavales y de ahí viene mi pasión mirar a través de un objetivo, ya que cuando tenía unos 11 o 12 años, le saque una foto a mi padre y a mi primo vestidos de mujer, había muchas posibilidades de que esa foto no saliera debido a que tengo parálisis cerebral, pero "milagrosamente"  la foto salió genial... Así que vi mi futuro claro!

¿Qué haces? Desde hace ya un par de años siento especial debilidad por los retratos, sobre todo por aquellos en blanco y negro. No me gusta estancarme en ninguna faceta de mi vida (un culo inquieto de toda la vida, vamos) y por eso sigo aprendiendo y descubriendo nuevos estilos. Ahora estoy empezando a adentrarme en la fotografía boudoir, me encanta ver y redescubrir el cuerpo humano cada vez que hago una sesión de este estilo, ver las diferentes versiones de un solo cuerpo me parece fascinante.

Influencias e inspiración: Aunque no suelo hacer fotografía de viaje, me gusta mucho la forma en que @Kikearnaiz y @alltheseshumans tratan sus fotografía y en especial, la parte de retratos, me encanta ver como utilizan la luz natural para iluminar sus trabajos. Y no podría olvidarme de Crhista Meola, una auténtica crack en el campo del boudoir.

💥 Who are you? My name is Tiby Medina and I usually hide behind my camera and “La Ventana de Tiby” (The Window of Tiby). I have always been attracted to arts, and specifically to photography. As a good Tenerife citizen, throughout my life, I have always enjoyed carnivals a lot and that's where my passion for looking through a lens comes from: since I was about 11 or 12 years old, I took a photo of my father and my cousin dressed as women; there was a good chance that this photo would not come out because I suffer from having cerebral palsy, but "miraculously" the photo turned out great ... So I saw my future clear!

What do you do? For a couple of years now I feel a special attraction for portraits, especially those in black and white. I don't like to get stuck in any facet of my life (I’m a restless ass) and that's why I keep learning and discovering new styles. Now I am starting to get into boudoir photography, I love to see and rediscover the human body every time I do a session of this style, I find it fascinating to me to discover the different versions of the same body.

Influences and inspiration: Although I don't usually do travel photography, I really like the way @Kikearnaiz and @alltheseshumans develop their photography and especially the portraits area, I love seeing how they use natural light to illuminate their work. And I could not forget Crhista Meola, a true star in the field of the boudoir.
