Nicole Giesa has the Pop Sonality!

Imagen
⭐️  Nicole Giesa has the Pop Sonality !  Who am I? I became an artist, unexpectedly in 2020, after a life-changing event. In a time when words failed me, I found my voice in photography. Since then, I’ve been creating (unplanned) photo series.  What do I do? FineArt Photography . My LONESOME ASTRONAUT is my 4th photo series. The anonymous astronaut could be any one of us: in the midst of it all, yet feeling alone. A feeling that probably every one of us knows, regardless of age, gender or origin. It’s about the paradox of growing loneliness in an increasingly interconnected world. It’s about life and loss, about perception, social interaction and alienation. It’s about every day life these days. No location is chosen at random or by beauty. Every motif is part of my very personal journey. Seeing how people of all ages perceive and interpret the LONESOME ASTRONAUT in exhibitions, or find themselves reflected in it, touches me deeply. It's both beautiful and sa...

✨ @justine_oxalis   has the Pop Sonality!  ✨ Pop Sonality: How do you feel when you see a great find for a photo? How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  ✨ Justine Georget: “When I encounter a scene with undeniable photographic energy, it strikes like a quiet jolt. When I press the shutter, I make a spontaneous visual decision based on an impulse, a resonance; it is not a rational thought process. I'the faces of the people I photograph are never truly foreign to me. They always reflect essential elements of myself: my personal discomfort, my doubts, and my own anxieties. However, they never fully express them. They merely touch upon them. Everything ultimately remains quite mysterious.m instinctively drawn in my breath catches, time slows. When the shutter clicks, the act is sudden and disarming, almost startling. My thoughts fall away, leaving only what’s vital. My heart races, sounds blur, and time suspends. Photography im...

“10 Rules to Work on Throughout Your Photographic Adventure” By Kim Kim Stoical.

Imagen
📸 @kimkimstoical shares with Pop Sonality his 10 Tips for Aspiring Photographers. These are, in fact, his “10 Rules to Work on Throughout Your Photographic Adventure”:  1: Always have your camera with you 2: Don’t project yourself before you sense the possibilities. 3: Depending on the location, make sure your camera setup is up to date. 4: Don’t practice street photography while listening to music. (Be sensitive to the musical pulse of the street.) 5: Practice street photography by experiencing the present moment. 6: Cultivate your pictorial spirit without necessarily drawing inspiration from other photographers. (Music, literature, cinema, and silence are also sources of inspiration for composition.) 7: Think about filling your frame with relevance, without lifeless spaces. 8: Don’t expect the short term. 9: Don’t be immersed in emotion. (Be clear-headed to be technically proficient and sensitive).  10: Be like the center of a wheel; don’t neglect any direction. 📸 About th...

Mady Lykeridou has the Pop Sonality!

☀️ Pop Sonality: How do you feel when you see a great find for a photo? 👁️ Junk Food Gourmet by Giuseppe Satriani.

Imagen
👁️ Pop Sonality is glad to bring you “Junk Food Gourmet” by @giusatriani, a stunning eye-opener series that reflects on the consumption of junk food and the consequences on our health, mind and body. It’s so revealing! I hope it touches you and makes you think about your relation with this No-Food at all and what is causing you physically and mentally. It is limiting you. Eating no real food is the biggest problem!  The idealistic fighter Giuseppe Satriani positively states: Obesity is the true pandemic, the world’s deadliest disease. In fact, more than 2.8 million people die every year because of obesity. The consumption of junk food is linked to obesity, diabetes, heart attacks, strokes and hypertension. Childhood obesity seems to be always more a question of social class: in families with an annual income of less than 18,000 euros, 23.6% of children are obese, while in families with a rent of more than 30,000 euros per year, this ratio is reduced to 10.9%. Thanks mainly to the ...

🎄 Manolis Lioudakis has the Pop Sonality!

Imagen
🎄 @manolislioudakis has the Pop Sonality!  Who are you? Hello, I’m Manolis. I’m from the greek island, Crete. I live there and I’m the owner and chef of a restaurant.  What do you do? Photography is the way I have chosen to communicate with people around me. I can’t tell if I succeed on it or if I can inspire someone through my photos. I usually post my work on social media without any description, leaving them open to any interpretation. I try to give my photos an emotional sense so that the viewer can create their own story with them, without me having to guide them.  Influences and inspiration: The first photographer I was into and inspired me to pick up a camera on my own was Ren Hang. Later, enjoying the local photography group I learned many great photographers who shaped my artistic perspective. But since I’m just a person after all, I spend also a lot of time on social media and I love a lot of photographers that Wikipedia doesn’t write about.

☀️Fred Sansone @fred.analogue has the Pop Sonality!  Who are you? My name is Fred Sansone, I was born and raised in Naples, Italy. After spending some years living in Germany and London, UK, I moved to Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where I am currently based. What do you do? I am an analogue photographer. In the current digital era, taking photos exclusively on 35 mm film is my own personal rebellion to our fast-paced way of living, and a society that increasingly values quantity over quality. My works have been displayed in various international exhibitions in Italy, France, Spain, UK, USA, Brazil, UAE, as well as published in magazines and collective photography books. Influences and inspiration: I take photographs mostly while travelling to different countries around the world, visiting new places and discovering new cultures is my main source of inspiration. I am particularly attracted to the contrast between natural and artificial elements. I also like to capture street scenes, ...

Brand and lifestyle photographer but I switch to landscape and surf photography when I like to experiment. Influences and inspiration: The sea connects my work in general. I’m inspired by many artists but photography from the early 1900’s makes me want to dive into that particular moment in time. Works every time. ⭐️ @salted_photos tiene la Pop Sonalidad. ¿Quién eres? I love being able to capture moments that may never happen again. I take photos of nature, animals and people.  Influences and inspiration: I love the things that flow in my art. My mother plays the guitar, although it has nothing to do with what I do, I think that has inspired me to continue growing. Also, in my low moment, she bought me a reflex camera with which I got through a terrible depression.  💦 @mirtylla has the Pop Sonality! We invited the fine art Italian photographer to share with us her delicate new series. Kindly she commented about these beautiful images: “Suspended in the lightness of water, changing dimension, following the enveloping, shifting, fluid element, going along with the buoyancy of the water, the golden reflections of the sun along with the surrounding darkness, when night takes the place of day.” We have been following her exquisite works here in Pop Sonality for years. She also added: “I have been working on this series of aquatic portraits for several years. I like the fluidity of the water element that suspends us in another, more spiritual and silent dimension, changing the earthly laws and allowing the body to flow with the current. It is part of my search for an ethereal and dreamlike dimension that I achieve through photography.” Ocean portrait series 2024 Model: Alex Burakovskaya

✨ @ypatia_kornarou has Pop Sonality!  ✨ Pop Sonality: How do you feel when you see a great find for a photo? How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Ypatia Kornarou: Because of social media and the internet in general, photo viewing is a condition we have to deal with every day. In the “age of the image” the difficult thing is to discover qualitative “visual field” invested with an interesting narrative. When finally a photograph can and does contain the elements, the motif that will give it an interesting identity then the feeling is one of surprise and relief about the art of photography. The constant search for quality frames will always be the purpose and the reason for the development of a visual artist.
