I try to look at all scenes and objects from a photographic perspective. There is no motif. We simply look at things photographically. James Brouwer: Hey! Yes that sounds great. thanks! How do I feel when I find a good subject matter? Well, some things are less obvious. You have a slight visual sense of that some thing or some arrangement of things will work. So I take a bunch of pics from different angles and see what works with cropping and other adjustments. But some subject matter is obviously killer, so you run around taking lots of photos as quick as you can. Andrew Tesdahl:  I follow light, and iconography as cliche as that may sound lol but I try and capture whatever catches my eye and makes me stop in my tracks and think. A large part of my work is creating self-portraits. But also I photograph landscapes or people. My work is united more by my aesthetic and less by the theme.  Influences and inspiration: Studying photography/ film/ art history, it’s very hard to choose where you get your influences and inspiration. I have a love for travel, exploring the world, and indulging in daydreams. ツ What do you do? I’ve been drawing throughout my entire life, always keeping fineliners close. One of the most representative and characteristic approach of Pop Sonality is presenting art from a bright perspective. I personally love reading about pop culture, however, in the last few years, it has become as exhausting, tedious, and negative as watching the news on TV. Exactly the same discourses, believe me. I want to save the adjectives to describe these discourses, because you for sure know perfectly what I mean. I hope.
