1. Gear is not important.

2. Experiment with different subjects, get yourself out of your comfort zone, have fun with your camera!

3. Don’t try to become famous or go viral.

4. Study the work of your peers and the greats.

5. Light is everything but composition gets you the bangers.

6. Edit your photos without fear, move all the adjustment sliders and explore the limits of each one.

7. Don’t worry about likes, lack of followers or awards and just keep shooting.

8. Connect with your subject, allow them to show you their essence.

9. Always have a camera on you, try to practice your craft everyday.

10. Print your work!

How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Dimitra Kitsiou: I keep seeing “photos” and “frames” everywhere.  Frequently, I see the “frame” first and then the reality as if everything exists to end up in a photo.  Perversion? Maybe!
