💥¿Quién eres? Fui fotógrafo de un periódico en mi adolescencia que se volvió pícaro, y se convirtió en fotógrafo de la vida nocturna. Yo era un fotógrafo de vida nocturna en mis veintes que se quemó y me convertí en un fotógrafo de productos en mis treintas. Me aburrí, ahora soy fotógrafo de viajes y siempre felizmente en movimiento.
¿Qué haces? Fotografío tradiciones antiguas en la actualidad y documento cómo estas culturas, reliquias y ritos han evolucionado para resistir el tiempo.
Influencias e inspiración: Tengo muchas fuentes de inspiración: National Geographic y Charles Freger, por nombrar algunas. También, un amigo cercano, Kevin Huls (@headaboveheart), con quien comencé a fotografiar conciertos hace más de una década. Desde entonces, ambos nos hemos convertido en entusiastas de los viajes centrados en culturas menos conocidas. Me gustaría pensar que continuaremos inspirándonos mutuamente por el resto de nuestras vidas.
💥Who are you? I was a newspaper photographer in my teens who went rogue and turned into a nightlife photographer. I was a nightlife photographer in my twenties that got burnt out and turned into a product photographer in my thirties. I got bored, now I’m a travel photographer and always happily on the move.
What do you do? I photograph ancient traditions in the modern-day and document how these cultures, relics, and rites have evolved to withstand time.
Influences and inspiration: I’ve got many inspirations - National Geographic and Charles Freger to name a few. Also, a close friend, Kevin Huls (@headaboveheart), who I began photographing concerts with over a decade ago. We’ve both since evolved into travel enthusiasts focused on lesser-known cultures. I’d like to think we’ll continue to inspire each other for the rest of our lives.
