☀️ ¿Quién eres? ¡Hola! Mi nombre es Nick y enseño arte y diseño a estudiantes de secundaria en Melbourne, Australia. Cuando no estoy enseñando, hago arte y música.
¿Qué haces? El surrealismo es una gran influencia en mi trabajo y me interesa la idea de las extrañas interrupciones del mundo mundano cotidiano. Me encanta la pintura y el grabado, pero el collage ha sido mi medio principal recientemente. Es versátil y me permite trabajar rápidamente.
Influencias e inspiraciones: en términos de artistas y diseñadores, Max Ernst, Moon Patrol y Julian House son las mayores influencias en mi trabajo. También estoy influenciado por el cine, la música y la literatura; particularmente David Lynch y JG Ballard.
☀️ Who are you? Hello! My name is Nick and I teach Art and Design to High School students in Melbourne, Australia. When I’m not teaching, I make art and music.
What do you do? Surrealism is a big influence in my work, and I’m interested in the idea of bizarre interruptions to the everyday mundane world. I love Painting and Printmaking, but Collage has been my main medium recently. It’s versatile and allows me to work quickly.
Influences and Inspirations: In terms of artists and designers, Max Ernst, Moon Patrol and Julian House are the biggest influences on my work. I’m influenced by film, music and literature too; particularly David Lynch and JG Ballard.
