Pop Sonality Statement.
✨ Today, me, Seigar, I’m sharing a statement I feel I need to let it out about my blog: Pop Sonality. One of the most representative and characteristic approach of Pop Sonality is presenting art from a bright perspective. I personally love reading about pop culture, however, in the last few years, it has become as exhausting, tedious, and negative as watching the news on TV. Exactly the same discourses, believe me. I want to save the adjectives to describe these discourses, because you for sure know perfectly what I mean. I hope. Pop Sonality from its very first day has showed and proved the world is a nice place, because we are the ones in charge to make it that way. This rebellious act works also as a practice of assuming our responsibility and authority, and as an exercise of our freedom to decide and do. The options we have to believe in are multiple, infinite, we just have to make the right choices, and believe in beautiful things. I know this sounds naive, but I also affirm it’s the wittiest and healthiest manner to understand life. The inspiration to create and the motivation to enjoy art can be born in a bright motif. In Pop Sonality, we will keep on doing it positively, no drama, just joy, because we are what we say and what we do, because we have decided that living and creating are both cheerful experiences. Happiness over sadness. Light over darkness. We want to shine. Imagine it like a sport match, so this would be the result: Drama 0 Life 1.
I think the empathy and love come from listening and knowing individual lives and stories, and all these official discourses repeated collectively to spread the same messages in the same way once and once again by everyone, meh. I’m not feeling them, because most of them are moved by fear. If moved by fear, it doesn’t exist for me. In Pop Sonality, we are not going to copy and repeat what we are supposed to say and do, we are going to continue our own way, with our voice. I wish pop culture publications would rewind to its pop position without the established and imposed same ideas present in every single article, that is our wish. I would love to read articles that make my soul smile, and find constructive and inspirational words. And while we wait for that to happen, we are going to keep on doing our work that is to share who artists are, what they do, and their influences and inspiration. Our way. Our bright way. Believing in self love, self improvement, and self changes. Believing in human beings and their million essences. Spreading love, positivity and good vibes, because we are free to decide how the world is right now. That is how I see the world. So Pop Sonality is going to show it likewise.
