🎈 What do you do? I like to work with a mix of materials such as old paper from books, diaries, greeting cards and magazines and combine it with fabric, yarn or small collected objects and items from the past.

Influences and inspiration: I love the illustrations of my former professor Wolf Erlbruch & the works of Paula Sanz Caballero, Marjolein Burbank, Concepcion Studios, Chris Ashworth and Magne Furuholmen. I could name so many more here… because there are so many great collage artists whose work I discovered via Instagram.

🎈¿A qué te dedicas? Me gusta trabajar con una mezcla de materiales como papel viejo de libros, agendas, tarjetas de felicitación y revistas y combinarlo con telas, hilos o pequeños objetos coleccionados y del pasado.

How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Ypatia Kornarou: Because of social media and the internet in general, photo viewing is a condition we have to deal with every day. In the “age of the image” the difficult thing is to discover qualitative “visual field” invested with an interesting narrative. When finally a photograph can and does contain the elements, the motif that will give it an interesting identity then the feeling is one of surprise and relief about the art of photography. How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Dimitra Kitsiou: I keep seeing “photos” and “frames” everywhere.  Frequently, I see the “frame” first and then the reality as if everything exists to end up in a photo.  Perversion? Maybe!
