Who am I? I’m Irene Suárez, a Tenerife-born artist currently based in Valencia, where I’m expanding my knowledge of artistic ceramics and its processes.

What do I do? I’m a visual and plastic artist specializing in sculpture and photography. My work explores the importance of interpersonal relationships and memory—particularly its fragility. I’m constantly reinventing myself and experimenting within my artistic practice, exploring different graphic techniques and self-publishing.

Influence and inspiration: My greatest artistic inspiration—both for her subject matter and career—is Louise Bourgeois. I’m deeply moved by the way she experiments with different media, not limiting herself to abstract sculpture but embracing a variety of materials, textures, and formats.

Within the contemporary Spanish art scene, my main reference is Ángel Garraza, a ceramic artist who works with abstraction. His use of textures and colors reveals the mastery of a true professional in this broad and special medium, combining precision with delicate perfection.

¿Quién soy? Soy Irene Suárez, artista tinerfeña con residencia actual en Valencia, donde estoy ampliando mis conocimientos sobre los procesos de la cerámica artística.
¿Qué es lo que hago? Soy una artista plástica y visual especializada en la escultura y la fotografía. Mis obras recogen como temática la importancia de las relaciones interpersonales y la memoria, mostrándose la fragilidad de ésta última. Estoy constantemente reinventándome y explorando en la práctica artística, probando diferentes técnicas gráficas y la autoedición.
Influencia e inspiración: Mi mayor inspiración por su arte, la temática que trata y su trayectoria es Louise Bourgeois. Me inspira la manera en la que experimenta con el medio, no centrándose únicamente en la escultura abstracta sino tratando diferentes materiales, texturas y formatos. 
En el panorama actual español mi mayor inspiración es Ángel Garraza, un artista cerámico que trabaja la abstracción, utiliza unas texturas y unos colores propios de un profesional de esta técnica tan amplia y especial, con una delicadeza minuciosa y perfecta.

 🎄 @manolislioudakis has the Pop Sonality!  Who are you? Hello, I’m Manolis. I’m from the greek island, Crete. I live there and I’m the owner and chef of a restaurant.  What do you do? Photography is the way I have chosen to communicate with people around me. I can’t tell if I succeed on it or if I can inspire someone through my photos. I usually post my work on social media without any description, leaving them open to any interpretation. I try to give my photos an emotional sense so that the viewer can create their own story with them, without me having to guide them.  Influences and inspiration: The first photographer I was into and inspired me to pick up a camera on my own was Ren Hang. Later, enjoying the local photography group I learned many great photographers who shaped my artistic perspective. But since I’m just a person after all, I spend also a lot of time on social media and I love a lot of photographers that Wikipedia doesn’t write about.
