💥¿Quién eres?? Soy Pablo Durango, hijo, hermano, pareja, amigo, fotógrafo y docente.


¿Qué haces? Retrato, paisaje, eventos e imparto clases de fotografía para la Universidad Popular de Candelaria en Tenerife.


Influencias e inspiración: Mi principal inspiración es la música y toda la cultura visual asociada, además del mundo y las personas que me rodean. Como fotógrafos referentes tengo a varios entre los que destacaría a Diane Arbus, Annie Leibovitz o Sebastião Salgado. 


💥 Who are you? I am Pablo Durango, son, brother, partner, friend, photographer and teacher.


What do you do? Portrait, landscape, events and I teach photography for the Popular University of Candelaria in Tenerife.


Influences and inspiration: My main inspiration is music and all associated visual culture, as well as the world and people around me. As reference photographers I have several among which I would highlight Diane Arbus, Annie Leibovitz or Sebastião Salgado.

How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Ypatia Kornarou: Because of social media and the internet in general, photo viewing is a condition we have to deal with every day. In the “age of the image” the difficult thing is to discover qualitative “visual field” invested with an interesting narrative. When finally a photograph can and does contain the elements, the motif that will give it an interesting identity then the feeling is one of surprise and relief about the art of photography. How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Dimitra Kitsiou: I keep seeing “photos” and “frames” everywhere.  Frequently, I see the “frame” first and then the reality as if everything exists to end up in a photo.  Perversion? Maybe!
