📸 Who are you? - I am Giampiero, I was born in the shadow of Vesuvius a few years ago. Photography is my favorite language.


What do you do? My office is in the street, and with my Ricoh I try to capture the things that still manage to move me.


Influences and inspiration: I started to love photography at the age of 12 with the great masters: Battaglia, Salgado, and Gastel. My photography is inspired by wanting to tell my inner world through captures.


📸 ¿Quién eres? - Soy Giampiero, nací a la sombra del Vesubio hace unos años. La fotografía es mi lenguaje favorito.


¿Qué haces? Mii oficina está en la calle, y con mi Ricoh trato de capturar las cosas que aún logran emocionarme.

How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Ypatia Kornarou: Because of social media and the internet in general, photo viewing is a condition we have to deal with every day. In the “age of the image” the difficult thing is to discover qualitative “visual field” invested with an interesting narrative. When finally a photograph can and does contain the elements, the motif that will give it an interesting identity then the feeling is one of surprise and relief about the art of photography. How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Dimitra Kitsiou: I keep seeing “photos” and “frames” everywhere.  Frequently, I see the “frame” first and then the reality as if everything exists to end up in a photo.  Perversion? Maybe!
