⭐️ Who are you? I’m a collage artist and textile designer, who is always curious about things that are not quite what they appear to be. 


What do you do? Through painted paper and found material I present unexpected narratives. My spontaneous approach encourages ambiguity, invites multiple readings and makes the familiar unfamiliar.


Influences and inspiration: The absurd attempt to understand the world shapes my identity as an artist. Observation and investigation of my surroundings as well as my own experiences are inspiration for my artistic work.


⭐️ ¿Quién eres? Soy una artista de collage y diseñador textil, y siempre siento curiosidad por las cosas que no son exactamente lo que parecen ser.


¿Qué haces? A través de papel pintado y material encontrado presento narrativas inesperadas. Mi enfoque espontáneo fomenta la ambigüedad, invita a lecturas múltiples y convierte lo familiar en desconocido.


Influencias e inspiración: El intento absurdo de comprender el mundo da forma a mi identidad como artista. La observación e investigación de mi entorno así como mis propias experiencias son inspiración para mi trabajo artístico.

How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Dimitra Kitsiou: I keep seeing “photos” and “frames” everywhere.  Frequently, I see the “frame” first and then the reality as if everything exists to end up in a photo.  Perversion? Maybe!
