✨ Pop Sonality: How do you feel when you see a great find for a photo? How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?
Dimitra Kitsiou: I keep seeing “photos” and “frames” everywhere. Frequently, I see the “frame” first and then the reality as if everything exists to end up in a photo. Perversion? Maybe! I don’t have preferred motifs, it’s the mood of the moment and the manner, not the subject, that make the photo; and the light. The moment when what I “see” becomes an image is a moment of profound joy.
✨ Pop Sonality: ¿Cómo te sientes cuando ves un gran hallazgo para una foto? ¿Cómo te hace sentir ver lo que sabes que es un buen motivo para una fotografía?
Dimitra Kitsiou: Sigo viendo “fotos” y “marcos” por todas partes. Frecuentemente veo primero el “marco” y luego la realidad, como si todo existiera para terminar en una foto. ¿Perversión? ¡Tal vez! No tengo motivos preferidos, es el estado de ánimo del momento y la manera, no el tema, lo que hace la foto; y la luz. El momento en que lo que “veo” se convierte en imagen es un momento de profunda alegría.
