🌟 Who are you?  I am Sarah Garland, a published photographic artist living in the uk.

What do you do? I take abstract or semi abstract photographs of anything that speaks to me in the natural and urban world around me.

Influences and inspiration: I am inspired by beauty and light, wherever I find it, and by the poeticism and depth of photographers like Masao Yamamoto, Hiroshi Sugimoto and Helene Binet.

How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Ypatia Kornarou: Because of social media and the internet in general, photo viewing is a condition we have to deal with every day. In the “age of the image” the difficult thing is to discover qualitative “visual field” invested with an interesting narrative. When finally a photograph can and does contain the elements, the motif that will give it an interesting identity then the feeling is one of surprise and relief about the art of photography. How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Dimitra Kitsiou: I keep seeing “photos” and “frames” everywhere.  Frequently, I see the “frame” first and then the reality as if everything exists to end up in a photo.  Perversion? Maybe! I don’t have preferred motifs, it’s the mood of the moment and the manner, not the subject, that make the photo; and the light.  The moment when what I “see” becomes an image is a moment of profound joy. ✨ Pop Sonality: ¿CĂłmo te sientes cuando ves un gran hallazgo para una foto? ¿CĂłmo te hace sentir ver lo que sabes que es un buen motivo para una fotografĂ­a?
