✨ George Tatakis has Pop Sonality!
🇬🇷 ☀️ Who are you? I'm George Tatakis, originally an Electrical Engineer hailing from Athens, Greece, who found a second calling as a photographer. I studied in Edinburgh as an engineer, and as far as photography goes, I am self-taught. I am 42 years old and I also like to play the piano, and I am a passionate cook. What do you do? In the realm of photography, I specialize in the captivating simplicity of black and white, drawing inspiration from Greek traditions. My projects, 'Ethos' and 'Caryatis,' delve into the rich tapestry of local traditions and women's dresses, respectively. Currently, I'm immersed in 'Chorōs,' a project experimenting with capturing rhythm and music's essence through still visual stimuli. Influences and inspirations: I draw inspiration from iconic photographers like Henri Cartier-Bresson, Costa Manos, and Josef Koudelka. Beyond photography, my creative fuel comes from diverse sources—music, art, and life experience...
