🍃 Who are you? I am Gerasimos Platanas a self-taught photographer born in Corfu, Greece.

What do you do?  My first photographs were taken around 2007 with the will of expressing myself artistically and under the experience that he had on me the work of Andrei Tarkovsky. Along the way, learning photography as an art, through daily practice and reading, I created my own virtual vocabulary, and every year, I try to discover and add a new letter to it.

Influences and inspiration: Other influences that I had beyond Tarkovsky's work, which played a role both in terms of aesthetics and form, come mainly from the experimental music, classic literature, the history of painting and cinema.

☀️ ¿Quién eres? Soy Gerasimos Platanas, un fotógrafo autodidacta nacido en Corfu, Grecia.

¿Qué haces? Mis primeras fotografías fueron tomadas alrededor del año 2007 con la voluntad de expresarme artísticamente y bajo la experiencia que tuvo sobre mí la obra de Andrei Tarkovsky. En el camino, aprendiendo la fotografía como arte, a través de la práctica diaria y la lectura creé mi propio vocabulario virtual y cada año trato de descubrirlo y agregarle una nueva letra.

Influencias e inspiración: Otras influencias que tuve más allá de la obra de Tarkovsky, que influyeron tanto en términos estéticos como formales, provienen principalmente de la música experimental, la literatura clásica, la historia de la pintura y el cine.
