🌷Who you are?  I am Iphigeneia Sakkou, a greek photographer, based in Athens.

What do you do?  My photos are the words of a visual language that I am speaking, fragments of what I encounter in my everyday life or a reality that I am directing myself. These are the stories I address to the viewers. Open to their own interpretations, hoping to rise their own meanings. Standing as opportunities for their own stories and our mutual dialogue.

Influences and Inspiration: I love studying the photographers of the earlier and modern times, who are a constant influence to me. I am inspired by art, music and movie films, literature and poetry. My sentiments, my obsessions and dreams move my inspiration.

¿Qué haces? Mis fotos son las palabras de un lenguaje visual que hablo, fragmentos de lo que encuentro en mi vida cotidiana o de una realidad que yo misma dirijo. Estas son las historias que dirijo a los espectadores. Abiertas a sus propias interpretaciones, con la esperanza de plantear sus propios significados. Siendo oportunidades para sus propias historias y nuestro diálogo mutuo.

Influencias e inspiración: Me encanta estudiar a los fotógrafos de los tiempos antiguos y modernos, son una influencia constante para mí. Me inspira el arte, la música y el cine, la literatura y la poesía. Mis sentimientos, mis obsesiones y sueños mueven mi inspiración.
