✨ Pop Sonality: How do you feel when you see a great find for a photo? How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph? 

Jacob Heiny: When I see something that would make an interesting photo I usually  stop dead in my tracks, or I pass by and immediately have to turn around. I think making a photograph in response to these moments is another way for me to appreciate either the beauty, the absurdity, or maybe just the overall feeling that it evokes. The feelings that I get can range anywhere from delight to melancholy.

✨ Pop Sonality: ¿Cómo te sientes cuando ves un gran hallazgo para una foto? ¿Cómo te hace sentir ver lo que sabes que es un buen motivo para una fotografía?

Jacob Heiny: Cuando veo algo que podría ser una foto interesante, normalmente me detengo en seco o paso de largo e inmediatamente tengo que darme la vuelta. Creo que hacer una fotografía en respuesta a estos momentos es otra forma de apreciar la belleza, lo absurdo o tal vez simplemente el sentimiento general que evoca. Los sentimientos que tengo pueden variar desde el deleite hasta la melancolía.

How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Dimitra Kitsiou: I keep seeing “photos” and “frames” everywhere.  Frequently, I see the “frame” first and then the reality as if everything exists to end up in a photo.  Perversion? Maybe!
