馃嚙馃嚪 Who are you?  My name is Iara Carvalho and  I am a Brazilian analog collagist based in S茫o paulo and I am the founder of Rede Collage Brasil. @redecollagebrasil 


What do you do? Today a good part of my time is dedicated to Rede Collage Brasil but I also dedicate myself to my analog collages and to books and cardboard art.


Influences and inspiration: I really like researching what makes influences, references and inspiration quite comprehensive and among many in particular I can mention the collages of the Brazilian Tereza D'Amico , the Cuban artist Lol贸 Soldevilla, the collages of the filmmaker Jim Jarmusch and the collages of the Polish writer Wis艂awa Szymborska.


馃嚙馃嚪 ¿Qui茅n eres? Mi nombre es Iara Carvalho y soy collagista anal贸gica brasile帽a con sede en S茫o Paulo, y soy la fundadora de Rede Collage Brasil.


¿Qu茅 haces? Hoy una buena parte de mi tiempo lo dedico a la Rede Collage Brasil, pero tambi茅n me dedico an mis collages anal贸gicos, a los libros y al arte en cart贸n.


Influencias e inspiraci贸n: Me gusta mucho investigar, esto hace que las influencias, las referencias y la inspiraci贸n sean bastante completas y entre muchos en particular puedo mencionar los collages de la brasile帽a Tereza D'Amico, la artista cubana Lol贸 Soldevilla, los collages del cineasta Jim Jarmusch y los collages de la escritora polaca Wis艂awa Szymborska.

How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Ypatia Kornarou: Because of social media and the internet in general, photo viewing is a condition we have to deal with every day. In the “age of the image” the difficult thing is to discover qualitative “visual field” invested with an interesting narrative. When finally a photograph can and does contain the elements, the motif that will give it an interesting identity then the feeling is one of surprise and relief about the art of photography. How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Dimitra Kitsiou: I keep seeing “photos” and “frames” everywhere.  Frequently, I see the “frame” first and then the reality as if everything exists to end up in a photo.  Perversion? Maybe!
