馃崈 Who are you?  My name is Sara - Kim Sara is the 'nickname' my colleagues gave me. I'm Italian and I live in Seoul. 


What do you do? I'm a marketing manager and to keep my creativity alive (and relax), I like to take photos and do graphic design. 


Influences and inspiration: What I see every day is by far one of the biggest influences, but also cinematography (Sofia Coppola and Wes Anderson). Some photographers that I admire are Amanda De Cadenet, Oliviero Toscani, Fran莽ois Halard and Mayumi Hosokura. I try to capture the authenticity of daily life, people and nature; these are also my source of inspiration.

 

馃崈  ¿Qui茅n eres? Mi nombre es Sara - Kim Sara es el 'apodo' que me dieron mis colegas. Soy italiana y vivo en Se煤l.


¿Qu茅 haces? Soy gerente de marketing y para mantener viva mi creatividad (y relajarme), me gusta tomar fotos y hacer dise帽o gr谩fico.


Influencias e inspiraci贸n: lo que veo todos los d铆as es, con mucho, una de las mayores influencias, pero tambi茅n de la cinematograf铆a (Sofia Coppola y Wes Anderson). Algunos fot贸grafos que admiro son Amanda De Cadenet, Oliviero Toscani, Fran莽ois Halard y Mayumi Hosokura. Trato de capturar la autenticidad de la vida cotidiana, la gente y la naturaleza; estos tambi茅n son mi fuente de inspiraci贸n.

How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Ypatia Kornarou: Because of social media and the internet in general, photo viewing is a condition we have to deal with every day. In the “age of the image” the difficult thing is to discover qualitative “visual field” invested with an interesting narrative. When finally a photograph can and does contain the elements, the motif that will give it an interesting identity then the feeling is one of surprise and relief about the art of photography. How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Dimitra Kitsiou: I keep seeing “photos” and “frames” everywhere.  Frequently, I see the “frame” first and then the reality as if everything exists to end up in a photo.  Perversion? Maybe!
