馃帹 Who are you? My name is Andrea Georgiou. 


What do you do? I am a painter and love to explore a range of media to  better illustrate the subject in hand. I love portraits abstract art and pop art. 


Influences and inspiration: What inspires me primarily, is color, faces, Egon Schiele, Andy Warhol, Frida Kahlo, David Hockney and music. For me, it’s all about the journey. The process of painting, unlocks the door, to the richness of being in a moment. Pure ecstasy.

¿Qu茅 haces? Soy una pintora y me encanta explorar una variedad de medios para ilustrar mejor el tema en cuesti贸n. Me encantan los retratos, el arte abstracto y el pop art.


Influencias e inspiraci贸n: Lo que me inspira principalmente es el color, las caras, Egon Schiele, Andy Warhol, Frida Kahlo, David Hockney y la m煤sica. Para m铆, todo se trata del viaje. El proceso de pintar, abre la puerta, a la riqueza del ser en un momento. Puro 茅xtasis.

How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Ypatia Kornarou: Because of social media and the internet in general, photo viewing is a condition we have to deal with every day. In the “age of the image” the difficult thing is to discover qualitative “visual field” invested with an interesting narrative. When finally a photograph can and does contain the elements, the motif that will give it an interesting identity then the feeling is one of surprise and relief about the art of photography.
