馃挋 Who are you? My name is Christian Contemori (aka Creetcha), I am a painter and designer from Italy but have lived in London for the past 10 years.


What do you do? I work as a UX designer in an international tech company. At night I flip the switch and turn into a figurative painter.


Influences and inspiration: My inspirations come from the human realm and in particular the body, its form, how it can move, twist and rest. I am particularly influenced by the London school, Fauvism and the contemporary figurative movement. 


馃挋 ¿Qui茅n eres? Mi nombre es Christian Contemori (tambi茅n conocido como Creetcha), soy un pintor y dise帽ador de Italia, pero he vivido en Londres durante los 煤ltimos 10 a帽os.


¿Qu茅 haces? Trabajo como dise帽ador UX en una empresa tecnol贸gica internacional. Por la noche le doy al interruptor, y me convierto en un pintor figurativo.


Influencias e inspiraci贸n: Mis inspiraciones provienen del 谩mbito humano y en particular del cuerpo, su forma, c贸mo se puede mover, torcer y descansar. Estoy particularmente influenciado por la escuela de Londres, el fauvismo y el movimiento figurativo contempor谩neo.

How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Ypatia Kornarou: Because of social media and the internet in general, photo viewing is a condition we have to deal with every day. In the “age of the image” the difficult thing is to discover qualitative “visual field” invested with an interesting narrative. When finally a photograph can and does contain the elements, the motif that will give it an interesting identity then the feeling is one of surprise and relief about the art of photography.
