馃珣 Who are you? I'm Celine, I was born in France, now living in Portugal.


What do you do? I'm an illustrator who mainly use pencil colors to make personalized portraits or commissioned artworks. I recently discovered analogue photography, which I use to make everyday life a little more colourful. The use of light and colour is an essential part of my work. I take the ordinary to make it beautiful (just trying :))


Influences and inspiration: Inspiration comes from

everywhere. All you have to do is look around you! 


馃珣 ¿Qui茅n eres? Soy Celine, nac铆 en Francia y ahora vivo en Portugal.


¿Qu茅 haces? Soy una ilustradora que utiliza principalmente colores de l谩piz para realizar retratos personalizados u obras de arte por encargo. Recientemente descubr铆 la fotograf铆a anal贸gica, que utilizo para hacer la vida cotidiana un poco m谩s colorida. El uso de la luz y el color es parte esencial de mi trabajo. Tomo lo ordinario para hacerlo hermoso (solo lo intento :))

How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Ypatia Kornarou: Because of social media and the internet in general, photo viewing is a condition we have to deal with every day. In the “age of the image” the difficult thing is to discover qualitative “visual field” invested with an interesting narrative. When finally a photograph can and does contain the elements, the motif that will give it an interesting identity then the feeling is one of surprise and relief about the art of photography. How does it make you feel to see what you know is a good motif for a photograph?  Dimitra Kitsiou: I keep seeing “photos” and “frames” everywhere.  Frequently, I see the “frame” first and then the reality as if everything exists to end up in a photo.  Perversion? Maybe!
